![]() 2014 welcomed the arrival of an album that featured a series of remixes titled – True: Avicii by Avicii, which was followed by his 2015 sophomore album: Stories featuring artists like Zac Brown, Wyclef Jean, Matisyahu and Martin Garrix. ![]() The Universal Music Group signed artist went on to be a perennial part of Top 40 countdowns and streaming music app playlists around the World with hits like “I Could Be the One,” which was a single colab with dance music dj and producer Nicky Romero, “Wake Me Up” featuring the vocals of Aloe Blacc, “Hey Brother”, “Addicted to You” and “A Sky Full of Stars,” a collaboration with Coldplay. In addition to creating several remixes for tracks from Little Boots, Robyn and Dizzee Rascal, Avicii was heavily acclaimed for his own singles, which included “Bromance”, “My Feelings for You”, “Seek Bromance” and most famously, 2011’s “Levels”, which reached platinum status in over ten countries across the globe. He began producing music at the tender age of 18, which led to support from electronic music heavyweights like Tiësto, Pete Tong and many more, contributing to his meteoric rise to stardom. Primarily applauded for his work as a DJ and producer, Avicii rose to prominence in 2011 with his single “Levels”.
